About Conference

Graph Theory is a rapidly evolving branch of mathematics with wide-ranging applications in computer science, communication networks, data science, engineering, and other interdisciplinary fields. The International Conference on Graph Theory (ICGT 2026) aims to bring together researchers, academicians, and students to present recent advances, exchange ideas, and discuss emerging trends in Graph Theory and its applications. The conference will provide an excellent platform for scholarly interaction, collaboration, and the promotion of innovative research in this vibrant field.

Pre-Conference Workshop - December 01-02, 2026

A two-day workshop on Visibility in Graph Theory will precede the conference, offering lectures on fundamental concepts, recent advances, and current research trends. The workshop aims to promote learning, interaction, and research among students, scholars, and faculty members.

Objectives

The major objectives of ICGT 2026 are to:

  • Present recent advances and emerging trends in Graph Theory.

  • Promote academic collaboration and interdisciplinary research.

  • Encourage young researchers and students to pursue research in Graph Theory.

  • Provide a platform for interaction with experts and presentation of research.

  • Contribute to the advancement of mathematical sciences.

  •  Expose students of our institution to recent research in Graph Theory.

About College

Christ College (Autonomous), Irinjalakuda is a pioneering institution committed to holistic education and the formation of intellectually capable and socially responsible citizens. The college emphasizes quality higher education along with the inculcation of moral and ethical values. Managed by the CMI congregation, the institution was established in 1956 with affiliation to the University of Calicut. It attained autonomous status in 2015  and has continued to strengthen its academic standards, earning re-accreditation from NAAC with an “A++” grade and recognition from SAAC with an “A+” grade in 2022.

About Department

The Department of Mathematics was established in 1956, elevated to postgraduate status in 2012, and upgraded to a research department in 2023 with five active research guides. It is one of the premier departments of the institution, known for its academic excellence and consistent student achievements. The department fosters a strong academic culture through seminars, workshops, internships, and intercollegiate competitions, encouraging students to deepen their interest in Mathematics.
